Does Beaphar Spot-On for small animals kill fleas, ticks, and worms?

Great question! Nexgard kills the deer tick as well as fleas and American dog tick/rocky mountain tick, and lone star tick. It is an oral pill as well, so I would us that for your dogs. Because Nexgard doesn't protect again heartworms, you will have to give your dogs Heartgard as well, which is available by prescription only from the vet. Advantix is a spot on treatment that treats the same things as Nexgard, but you would also have to use Heartgard as well for the heartworms. These two medications (Nexgard and Advantix) are for dogs only. As for the cats, Simparica prevents five types of ticks, so this may work for your cats :-)

Hello. There is nothing in the product label that indicates use for ear mites, but often this is just not tested for. In terms of flea life cycle, only the adult flea is affected. If the flea lays eggs on your pet prior to dying from the insecticide ( unlikely since a flea needs a blood meal to lay eggs ), theoretically those eggs will hatch on the ground. Flea eggs do not hatch on the pet. Some flea products do contain insect growth regulators that prevent hatching or flea development, but Activyl does not make this claim. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I like Bravecto for flea and ticks. It is a topical that works for 3 months. Then I would use interceptor monthly for heartworm and intestinal parasites. Or you can use Advantage Multi and the Seresto collar for the ticks. But you are right there isn't a product that gets everything for dogs or cats. Have a great day!

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Charlie! I recommend the following products for ticks: Nexgard, Bravecto, Simparica or the Seresto Collar. The spot on treatments, bathing and powders do not work well anymore. Hopefully you can get one of the above products from your Vet. The Seresto collars can be found online but I have heard of counterfeit ones being sold on amazon so be careful of online sources. It is best to try to get them from your Vet. Thank you for submitting your question regarding Hazel. I typically prescribe Vectra 3D to kill and repel fleas and ticks. It also will repel mosquitoes which will help to prevent heartworm disease. Fleas are very small jumping parasites. They will leave black flecks on the pet known as flea dirt. Ticks are larger, usually brown in color and attach themselves to a pet in order to draw blood. Both are capable of spreading disease. I hope this information helps!

The dewormer i usually recommend is called Drontal plus, bear in mind that unlike the flea/tick products, dewormers do not protect your dog from future infestation, it only kills the worms on spot. for fleas and ticks i usually recommend Bravecto tablet or Advantix spot on. all these medications are considered to be high quality and safe.
