What to do if I accidentally used human shampoo on my dog's fur?

I used human shampoo on my dog without knowing it would harm him, is there a way I can undo this harm?

Please provide more information on the type of shampoo. Most human shampoos cause a mild drying and irritation which will resolve uneventfully, helped by an omega fatty acid supplement. Rinse thoroughly with water to ensure all traces are removed
