Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this chew toy for exceptional teething relief, with puppies immediately gravitating toward it and chewing obsessively. The bacon scent is a major draw, with dogs detecting it even before unboxing. Many highly value the freezing feature for added gum soothing, calling it a "lifesaver" that reduces destructive chewing. While most describe it as durable and well-made, a few report the cloth portion can tear with strong chewers. A small number of dogs show no interest regardless of scent or temperature. Overall, reviewers strongly recommend it for teething puppies.

I've bought about a dozen different teething products and this one, which I thought would not be a hit, is hands-down the best one for the simple reason that pieces of it do not break off. It's been 2 weeks now and I feel confident leaving it in the crate with her at night or unsupervised at any time. It's designed so that you can wet the bib part and freeze it - which is just a bit messy and doesn't seem to matter to the pup. I'm also surprised that she hasn't shredded the mircrocloth bib part. It's her go to and ours. Highly recommend.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Customer Care

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear the Nylabone Freezer Bone has been such a reliable teether. We strive to provide durable, safe products that give pet parents peace of mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this I froze it like instructions say My 11 week puppy was so excited! He started chewing it in a matter of 3 minutes he was gagging on the piece of cloth he chewed off!! I'm shocked it's made out of such thin materials. I will no longer be letting him have it. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Be very careful if you let your pet chew on it. I do not recommend this product very dangerous.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The nylabone Cooling Dog Toy is a fantastic solution for pet owners looking to soothe their dog’s gums while providing a fun and engaging chew experience. Designed to be placed in the fridge or freezer, this toy offers a cooling sensation that can help relieve teething pain in puppies or provide comfort to dogs on hot days. Made from durable, BPA-free rubber, it stays cold for an extended period, keeping dogs entertained while also promoting oral health. My Labrador Retriever, who loves to chew, took to it immediately, and I noticed he seemed calmer and more focused while using it.

Puppy likes this toy a lot. I like that you can freeze it. Only issue is our puppy ripped off a piece of the cloth and tried to eat it. Once we removed the cloth he enjoys the toy alone. It’s a good teething toy for chewers.

No, I do not recommend this product.

My puppy isn't quite to the teething stage yet so I haven't tried this frozen or chilled but he's liked gnawing on it as-is so I'm hopeful he'll enjoy it just as much once he's teething! Also one of the few toys I saw in-store that involved fabric other than plush toys, which is nice for my little guy who likes to casually chew on blankets.

Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] a fantastic chew toy for puppies, especially those going through teething. The concept is simple yet effective—you just pop the toy in the freezer, and the coolness provides relief for sore gums, while the bacon flavor keeps pups interested and engaged.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toy is super cute but my doggie chewed right through it! He loved the bacon scent! The price I saw online isn’t too bad but you get what you pay for. I probably would recommend a more durable toy personally!
