Dachshunds tend to be snugglers, and also love to be buried (like under a blanket!). I'd look into a dog bed (or even a large cat bed) that has a [clamshell or hooded design]() that she can crawl into and be covered up by it. Most smaller dogs (especially dachshunds) tend to like this [cave type bed]().

Hello, thank you for using PetCoach.\ You can use any type of filler you would like however, most of what you will find is polyester types. You can purchase "stuffing" at any fabric type store like JoAnn Fabrics. ( https://www.joann.com/sewing/foam-and-fiber/fiberfill/ ) Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Not all dogs will play with their toys. Some dogs are just not interested in them. I would recommend taking some extra time out of your day to get some play time or extra walks in since Buddy isn't interested in his toys. I would be careful with him chewing blankets. My concern would be him eating a piece of one and he can become obstructed with a foreign body if that happens. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

Hi and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Sorry to hear about Buddy. This is a million dollar question. I have experienced it with my dogs and I didn't understand it then and I don't understand it now. Some dogs are just very destructive when it comes to toys, beds, and other items in the house. Maybe it's just boredom, lack of environmental enrichment, etc. I would advise more walks, more exercise, etc to see if the behavior continues. Good luck

Hello. The first thing you need to do is recover or throw this bed away. Much depends on how much Snowind may have ingested, but most times only a small piece is ingested. Most pets are just interested in a taste & rarely eat enough to cause a problem. You should just keep an eye on him for any abnormal gastrointestinal signs such as loss of appetite, vomiting or diarrhea over the next several days. If he seems to be doing fine, then do not worry, he did eat enough to cause a problem. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
