The Simple Green products are effective and safe. Stronger cleaners will trade safety for efficacy. Baking soda and water or a 50/50 solution of water and white vinegar can be effective and safe cleaners.

Hi, thanks for using PetCoach! Poor Rocco! Your pictures look like a deep pyoderma (skin infection). To try and treat at home I would use a medicated shampoo that contains benzoyl peroxide once daily on the shin and then apply mupirocin ointment on it twice daily. You can google this ointment and find it online. If it doesn't get better Rocco should see a Vet for oral antibiotics. I wish you the best! https://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=21564

Most common household cleaners are safe when diluted according to the instructions. For example, properly diluted PineSol - if Lucy drank straight from the mop bucket, she would likely have vomiting and diarrhea, but it is unlikely to be fatal. So if you keep her out of the mop bucket and attempt to keep her away from the floors until they are dry, you should be fine!

Trifectant and Roccal-D are popular disinfectants. Directions for use may vary by product, so the best option is to read the label. A 1:32 bleach and water solution can also be used. Allow for at least a 15 minute wet contact time before rinsing. Each kennel should be cleaned and sanitized after each use.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The good thing is that there are many things that can be tried to help in this case. I highly recommend that you consider using a product called Capstar which helps to kill a lot of fleas at once and it can be given every day to effect. I would not give up on the Seresto just yet as it may be failed because of heavy flea exposure and it would otherwise work well. However, if this occurs again especially under regular circumstances then that would be the time to consider other flea preventative products such as Bravecto or Frontline day plus for example. The most effective way of cleaning the house is by vacuuming all the surfaces that have contact with Riley on a daily basis until no fleas are seen. You can now use a comb to remove any fleas or flea dirt. This is very likely going to help. I hope you find this information helpful. Good luck and have a great day!
